Biography
An explosive funk band complete with horns, backing singers and the full spectrum of hairstyles, Wild Love Tigress plays hard-grooving modern funk music that combines high caliber musicianship with thoughtful songwriting. They put on a high-energy live show that always gets crowds up and dancing. Their most recent album, “On the Prowl”, came out in January of 2025 and featured the singles “Bendy King”, “I Plead the Fifth” and “If I Can’t Run.” The band has played all over Colorado, including venues like the Fox Theater and Cervantes, and has toured in Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska.
“Wild Love Tigress carries a big personality on stage, with Miller’s expressive vocals carried by waves from the brass section before Felts breaks out a masterful solo. Each member shines as much as the other, concocting a cohesive and streamlined quality that underscores the collaborative talent.”

Newsworthy
“I am an avid listener of live music, but there are very few that wow me quite like WLT did. Bands like this are the type of music this country needs now. By the way they carried themselves on stage and the continuous flow of music, it was evident that they were in sync and well-rehearsed. The front man commands the audience with his movements and showmanship. It was hard for anyone in the Replay to stop themselves from dancing.”
-Review of WLT’s live show from KJHK in Lawrence, KS
We had our busiest year to date in 2023! We played 35 shows across the southwest highlighted by a sold-out show at Cervantes Theater in Denver, our first ever appearance at the historic Fox Theater in Boulder, and a headlining slot at the 25th Annual Edgewater Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Festival. As well as all our shows in Colorado, we played our longest tour to date as a summer tour through Kansas and Texas, where we met and played with incredible musicians and bands.
We released our first album, Wild Love Tigress, on vinyl for the first time. As long time vinyl listeners, having our songs on a record was a huge milestone. Since we introduced them, they have become a favorite merch item among our fans. We have been hard at work writing songs for our second studio album, and we can’t wait to share them with our fans! We released the singles “Bendy King” and “I Plead the Fifth” for that upcoming record.
Tower of Power has been an inspiration for our band since its inception. It has always been the band’s dream, but especialy guitartist Anthony Felts’ dream, to have a five piece wall of sound horn section. In 2023, we welcomed saxophonist Andrew Gomez in the fold. Andrew adds so much to the band and horn section as technical and spirited musician. Three horns down. Two to go.
